Growing Up

Julie Mulhern was born in Pekin, Illinois, in 1935. She was the tallest girl in her class, and she loved to play basketball. However, she was often told that she was too tall and clumsy to be a good player. Julie never gave up on her dream, however, and she eventually became one of the greatest women's basketball players of all time.
